Etsy Love: Handmade wedding rings and engagement rings

Etsy Love

I love, love, handmade wedding rings and engagement rings.  They’re so romantic!  If you just want a bling on your finger, I’m sure the size of the diamond matters.  But if you want an unique ring that shows your personality, it’s not at all about the size.  It’s about the story and warmth behind your ring.  The jeweler and the wearer is connected with a special bond, and it’s something that you can never buy from a chain retail store.  These handmade rings are carefully hand picked, designed, communicated and polished by the artists, and that’s extraordinary in my opinion.  Here are a few handmade wedding ring favorites I picked out from Etsy.

Those are beautiful antiques engagement rings you have there. And I agree that the most romantic gift that a man can give to his special girl is a gift that he makes himself. In one of my travels (I’m a mountaineer), I chanced upon a betrothal “ritual” while I waited for a summit attempt in the Himalayas. The young man carved a beautiful wooden ring to his girlfriend. After several days, he gave the ring to her as a betrothal gift. It brought tears to my eyes.
