Look what we have in our etsy shop now!  These awesome cute yarn pompom flowers that looks like craspedia billy balls.  Perfect for vintage, artsy wedding tables to brighten up everyone’s mood.   I like having these everywhere in my house on shelves, bathroom, on my nightstand etc. These vases are from Michael’s, but it will be much cuter if you have miss matching vintage vases that you find from antique stores.  I had a lot of craspedia billy ball flowers in my wedding bouquet, I only wish I made these sooner to incorporate them into my wedding.

Cute, fun brides!! Short wedding dresses seems so fitting when it comes to outdoor weddings, DIY weddings, beach weddings, backyard weddings etc.  For starters it keeps the brides in a light, fun mood since they don’t have to hurl around tons of fabric all day long.  Wedding dresses can be heavy!  By the end of the day I felt like I was training for a marathon dragging a tire behind me.  Secondly it won’t attract all the dirt, grass, grease and sand onto the bottom of the dress.  Less cleaning bills.  Thirdly you can show off your awesome heels and legs!  Fourthly I think everyone in every shape and size looks good in a mini dress.  You can accentuate parts of your body with a big poofy wedding skirt, or hide awkward proportions that you always have trouble with, and feel good looking petite and cute!  I would make all these cute brides into a miniature figurine and display them on a shelf if I could… not in a creepy way. lol.

I LOVE circus carnival theme weddings!  I wasn’t the biggest fan of circus since I kind of have a phobia for clowns, but circus weddings I’d go any day!  I found all these etsy circus goodies via different artists.  Just to start you off with what you would need to create a circus wedding.  Wedding invitations and stationery will do a big part, since you can put in so many colors into such a small space.  I love the popping red against the cyan blues, so keeping those theme colors will help you create a big visual.  Of course you can keep it neutral or pastel colors with just a hint of redness here and there to keep it muted down, vintage circus wedding.

Today I have collected the cutest, artsy vintage wedding invitations from Minted.com. They have everything from save-the-date cards, wedding invitations, RSVP cards, bridal shower invitations, menu cards, place card, etc. And even stationery for events other than wedding. Hope you enjoy!

Handmade wedding invitations and stationery can be fun and very affordable.  And what’s the most important factor for a successful handmade wedding invitations? FONTS.  Fonts alone can tell a theme, story, image, and a lot of logos are based on fonts.

It took me a while to put this together… but here it is! FREE 40 wedding fonts for DIY Weddingers from dafont.com.  Remember although most of them are free for personal use, make sure to read their policy.  Some of them are donationware, so if you can spare a few bucks for the author I’m sure it’ll be much appreciated.

I always love looking through etsy and finding alternative wedding bouquets such as artificial flower bouquets, vintage brooch bouquets, paper flower bouquets, fabric flower bouquets, etc.  I would love to buy all of them and just display them at my house!  I also love recommending new trendy brides to go with these alternative bouquets.  For one, because it has the warm, handmade look to complete their handmade weddings, and secondly because they will last forever.  Some brides have a hard time managing to dry the fresh flower bouquet well, and end up throwing them away.  These alternative flower bouquets will never wither, and it will look beautiful in a vase as a centerpiece at your home.
