A beautiful circus themed wedding! Here’s a little scoop on their day…

Sally and John have a love for good food, good music and good fun; so naturally they wanted their wedding to embody everything they love to celebrate their wonderful guests. They were married “under the big top” in a vintage circus-themed wedding rife with handmade and vintage details that brought the theme to life. Their custom-designed letterpress invitations had a perforated ticket for guests to bring for admission, where they picked up their popcorn-box programs so they could snack while they watched the bride and groom say their vows under a handmade fabric and paper backdrop [made by the bride’s family], pronounced husband and wife by a ringmaster, the groom’s cousin. Good food and good beer were enjoyed by the guests as they sat at their tables sporting vintage and handmade circus-themed centerpieces, while the swing and jazz sounds from Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers filled the air. Popcorn and Coca-Cola in glass bottles were served later in the evening, adding to the nostalgic fun feel for the day.

I LOVE circus carnival theme weddings!  I wasn’t the biggest fan of circus since I kind of have a phobia for clowns, but circus weddings I’d go any day!  I found all these etsy circus goodies via different artists.  Just to start you off with what you would need to create a circus wedding.  Wedding invitations and stationery will do a big part, since you can put in so many colors into such a small space.  I love the popping red against the cyan blues, so keeping those theme colors will help you create a big visual.  Of course you can keep it neutral or pastel colors with just a hint of redness here and there to keep it muted down, vintage circus wedding.
